This is the privacy notice for knucklemeatrecords.com, a small independent record label. We've kept it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Knucklemeat Records ("we", "us"). For any privacy question, email hello@knucklemeatrecords.com.
What we collect, and why
If you sign up to the mailing list, we collect:
- Your email address — so we can email you about the things you opted into.
- The date and time you signed up — to demonstrate consent.
- Your IP address and browser user-agent — for spam/abuse prevention.
- The exact wording of the consent you agreed to — so we have a record of what you opted into.
- Your category preferences — which kinds of emails you want to receive (drops, label news, monthly roundup).
Our lawful basis for processing this data is your consent. We use a double opt-in: when you sign up, we email a confirmation link, and you only join the list once you click it. Every email we send includes a link to manage your category preferences or unsubscribe completely.
We do not collect anything else. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party cookies on this site.
Who we share it with
Your email is sent through SendGrid (Twilio Inc.) to deliver the confirmation email and any future label emails (drops, shows, announcements). Your subscriber record is stored in a Postgres database hosted on Railway (Railway Corp.). We don't sell, rent, or share your email with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Confirmed subscribers: as long as you remain subscribed. Pending (unconfirmed) sign-ups are deleted after 30 days if you never click the confirmation link. Unsubscribed records are retained as a suppression list so we don't accidentally re-add you.
Your rights
Under UK/EU GDPR and similar laws, you can:
- Unsubscribe at any time — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
- Request a copy of the data we hold on you.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time.

Cookies
This site does not set any cookies.
Changes to this notice
If we change anything material, we'll update the date at the top and email anyone on the list.
